At Damotech, we are a competitive bunch! For the third edition of these games, everyone gathered on the beach to form teams. A series of events took place; each one more challenging than the next. The DamOlympics ended with a contest to see which team could build the tallest sandcastle.
On our last evening in Mexico, we gathered at Restaurant Coquette to celebrate the trip and share some French cuisine, prepared by an acclaimed chef. The beautiful decor was the perfect setting to glam up and raise a toast to our incredible team. Later that evening, we came together to form a giant circle on the beach under the moonlight. Team members were encouraged to share their trip highlights and the new friends they had made. Eric, our CEO, then proceeded to make ten new dreams come true!
Team building is fun, especially beachside! The country of Mexico was celebrating its independence while we were visiting, so we were treated to some serious fiesta and fireworks! The pools, the beach, the water is where we spent afternoons mingling, sharing cocktails, playing volleyball, going sailing and paddleboarding.
At sunset one evening, we had a delightful dining experience together, right on the beach. The resort had arranged a beautiful setting for our group and a buffet was served. The festivities continued into the night, around the main pool, where an open-air bar and dancefloor was set-up, complete with fireworks to celebrate the anniversary of Mexico's independence from Spain.
This was the surprise activity during our trip. Early one morning, we were driven to Puerto Morelos, to swim with dolphins. Their habitat was located in a bay next to a marina, which offered a quiet setting to meet the friendly creatures. Each participant had the chance to pet, play, and learn about dolphins up close.
